Order From Indian Sites: Myntra and Amazon, Delivered to the Maldives

Order Placing

The customer purchased eight items from Myntra and one item from Amazon on their own using the Indian virtual address provided by Shoppre and the cash-on-delivery option. Placing an order at Indian shopping sites requires Indian credentials, and Shoppre provides them to every customer upon signing up. A FREE virtual address is given to be used at the time of order placement at any Indian shopping site. With its help, the order reaches our facility in India, where we store it before further process.

Order Delivery

Both orders were delivered at the Shoppre warehouse and stored safely for 7 days in the personal locker. Every customer gets 20 days of FREE storage in their personal locker. Customers can collect orders from more than one website in their locker before shipping them as one shipment from Shoppre.

Other Services

The customer opted to view the photo of the products received and chose the express processing service at just ₹45 and ₹200, respectively. Other payable services include product return, exchange, excess storage, additional packaging material, a gift note, gift wrap, removal of the box, etc.

Ship Request

After receiving all the items, we notified the customer, and they sent us a ship request for us to start preparing the shipment. Then, a payment link was sent to them on the 25th of April to complete the payment.

Total Weight And Cost

The higher of the actual weight and the volumetric weight is considered for calculating the shipping charges. In this case, the volumetric weight was higher; it was 3.5 kg. Hence it was considered the final weight after consolidation and repackaging.

According to the weight of the package, the shipping charges came out to be ₹7693/-. But, after applying the country shipping discount for the Maldives and the membership discount, the shipping was reduced to ₹3846/-.

The final shipping charges are the sum of the total package level charges of the services taken and the shipping charges for the specific country. Hence, after adding the consolidation and repackaging cost, photo charges, and express processing fee, the final shipping charges paid by the customer were ₹3854/-.

Savings

If the customer had chosen to ship the items individually, the total shipping charges would have been ₹14,850/-. With Shoppre, the customer saved 70% without incurring any additional customs duty and paid ₹3854/- for the whole shipment. Final Delivery

We handed over the package to our delivery partner FedEx on the 26th of April, and it was dispatched on the same day. The customer received the package from India to the Maldives within 6 days in excellent condition on the 1st of May without any issues.
